Grades 9–12
Chamber Choir is an auditioned advanced performing choir that builds on fundamentals learned in Carol and Concert Choirs. In addition, singers:
- sing SATB as well as three- and four-part men’s and women’s ensemble pieces
- continue musicianship and music literacy: score analysis, dissonant intervals, and master class opportunities
- participate in a national or international tour
Men’s Ensemble (Chamber Choir men)
Men’s Ensemble is for male singers who are members of the Chamber Choir. The ensemble is dedicated to nurturing and promoting singing for the changing and changed male voice and sings diverse repertoire ranging from unison to four-part harmony.
Duration
Late August through early May with a break in December
Time
Chamber Choir meets Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Men’s Ensemble meets Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Location
Blossom Hill Mennonite Church, Lancaster
Tuition
$360 per year for Chamber Choir (over 80 hours of choral instruction, retreats, concerts, and events)
$30 per year for Men’s Ensemble
(plus a non-refundable registration fee of $75, a uniform purchase of approximately $75, and participation in two fundraisers)
