This fall, nearly 25 singers participated in MCCL’s choral classes — Prelude Music for kindergarten and 1st grade and Choristers for 2nd to 8th graders. These classes are designed to introduce young singers to the joy of singing together while exploring movement, sight-reading, rhythm, and more.

Under the direction of Monica Carlsons and Jonathan Shoff, the classes provide an engaging and interactive environment where music learning is full of fun. The repertoire is centered on songs from around the world and across time, all with a focus on glorifying God.

On November 18, these singers shared their musical growth with family and friends. It was a special evening celebrating their hard work and lifting their voices in song!

Our spring classes begin on January 20 and will run for eight weeks with a break on March 3. The cost for the spring semester is $95/singer. We would love to have your family be a part of the MCCL singing experience!
